We are looking for a self-motivator to join our team in the world of education and travel as an Educational Travel Consultant. The role is 100% remote (work from home) and as such you will need a suitable home office space where you can take and receive calls and work from.
Your primary role will be to develop relationships with teachers all over the UK, converting their enquiries into educational trips by demonstrating a high level of customer service and sound knowledge of the different destinations we offer. Remote training and support will be provided from the start as we do not expect you to come from the same industry, but to show an aptitude for detail, organisation and relationship building.

Specifically, the role entails the following
- Managing your own portfolio of clients with a potential booking value in excess of £500,000 per annum
- Build relationships with teachers from across the UK by liaising with them by email and phone in order to convert enquiries into firm bookings
- Provide administrative support to other members of the Sales Team
- Respond to customer queries quickly and efficiently, providing guidance and expertise on any associated travel documentation, destination information, and educational resources for their trips
- Be willing to learn about the different destinations including European and worldwide cities, ski resorts
- Work out and convert complex costings into detailed, bespoke quotations using the relevant templates
- Work to sales targets
- Provide an out-of-hours customer support service on a rota basis supporting customers with "on tour" issues where required (after 3 months in the role)
Success in the role will rely on your ability to work as a team player and plan and prioritise workloads effectively to ensure that each customer is provided with an exceptional level of service. Your attention to detail, willingness to pick up the phone and exceptional organisational skills will be crucial to the success of the role.

Salary: £21,500.00-£22,500.00 per year
